Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our margarita machine rentals, delivery, setup, rental policies, and event planning.

How Many Drinks Does Each Batch of Margarita Mix Make?

One batch of margarita mix makes about 70-80 9-oz drinks.

How Long Does the First Batch Take to Freeze?

About 45 minutes to an hour if the machine is indoors, a little longer if it's outdoors.

How Far in Advance Do I Reserve My Margarita Machine?

We suggest that you secure your reservation 2-3 weeks in advance. However, feel free to email or call us if you need it that weekend; we might be able to accommodate your event beverage service needs.

Are the Machines Easy to Use?

Very easy! We mix your first batch of margarita mix and show you how to use the machine. No ice required.

Who Provides Liquor, and How Much Will I Require?

The customer must provide all the liquor. For a delicious margarita, add 3 liters of tequila of your choice and 1 liter of triple sec. It’s $20.00 for additional margarita mix if required, refundable if unopened.

We recommend for your party:

0-100 guests: 1 Margarita Machine and 1 to 2 mixes

100-200 guests: 2 Margarita Machines and 3 to 5 mixes

Of course, you will need to purchase more alcohol.

What Kind of Power Does the Machine Require?

The machine requires a standard 120V 20 amp circuit. DO NOT use an extension cord unless one is provided to you by Margaritas 4U; you will have to request one if you need it.

What Do I Do With the Machine When the Party Is Over?

Simply empty the machine of any remaining drink and turn the machine off. If the margarita mix is empty before the party is over, PLEASE turn the machine off.

What if I Require Two Flavors for My Party?

We recommend you rent two machines, but you can certainly change flavors between batches. Just keep in mind that there will be some mixing of the previous batch. You can also buy flavors from the liquor store to add to your cups.

Am I Responsible for Damages Done to the Machine While I Have It?

YES! Once we place the machine and confirm that the unit functions, you must sign off that everything is working. We recommend that you DO NOT move the machine; they are very heavy and can easily tilt over. Call us if you have any problems at (512) 844-1948.
